Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer at FreeTech, you'll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge web solutions that deliver real, measurable value to startups and small businesses. This is a remote contract role for senior engineers who thrive in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments. You'll work across our modern tech stack, including React, Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, Express, REST APIs, and real-time socket servers. Skill Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency with React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript

  • Proven ability to deliver full-stack features quickly and reliably

  • Strong familiarity with Firebase, including Firestore, Authentication, and Firebase Functions

  • Skilled in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and real-time socket servers using Express

  • Hands-on experience deploying and scaling services with Google Cloud Platform, specifically GCP Cloud Run

  • Deep understanding of Git workflows, version control strategies, Github Actions, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Systems-level thinking with the ability to architect, integrate, and optimize complex components

  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in fast-paced or startup environments
